About Us

Firstly why "Backpacking Scotsman"? Well yes I am Scottish and I am based in Scotland, but having lived abroad for most of my adult life I bring many various styles and tastes to my work, thus the rather eclectic look of my shop.

My loves are of course Scotland, whether its the landscape, the culture or the wildlife that is present on our shores. In fact I just adore these four small nations that make up our Little Island nation with our rich and diverse culture and scenery ever present on any travels through the UK, but also a great love for Europe, Canada, America and Asia where I have lived and worked for most of my days until now.

What started off as something to keep my mind active while I wait for a hip operation has started to grow into a relatively successful brand.Be patient as the store grows - This is in great part due to me being an absolute novice at webdesign so the products are being populated as I learn the new various techniques.

I always love a challenge so I would be more than happy to have a go at any reasonable ideas you may come up with.

I am never happier when the "wanderlust" takes hold to set off on a new adventure, where the journey is ALWAYS as important as the destination.

I am new to this platform and would dearly love for you to like the shop and maybe add one or two of the products to your favorites

I am a big sports fan who loves: Baseball, Ice Hockey, American Football from my time living in North America and of course our Football (Soccer) so you will see a few sports memorabilia sprinkled among my normal Art work. See if you can figure out my favorite teams over time!
